Baker

We are looking for an awesome baker to add to our Team to make our famous Doughnuts Baker responsibilities include opening the bakery early in the morning, mixing dough and preparing different kinds of glazes and fillings. To be successful and efficient in this role, you should have work experience as a Baker in the commercial kitchen. Ultimately, you will make sure we offer fresh and delicious doughnuts and pastries to our customers on a daily basis.

Responsibilities;

• Open bakery early in the morning
• Prepare ingredients to make dough
• Prepare glazes and fillings
• Mix various ingredients to create fillings and glazes from scratch (e.g. berry and fruit toppings, ganache, caramel sauces and various other cream fillings)
• Decorate doughnuts implementing different techniques such as using piping bags and etc.
• Prepare custom made doughnuts and pasties based on customers' preferences (e.g. special events or allergy restrictions)
• Create and implement new recipes for our doughnut and dessert menu
• Maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness
• Track food supplies and place orders as needed
• Maintain excellent time-management and efficiency in all daily operations

Skills;

• Experience as a Baker or Pastry Chef or similar role
• Understanding of food safety practices
• Familiarity with all professional kitchen equipment, including doughnut fryers, mixers, blenders, proofers and commercial ovens.
• Experience with cake decorating techniques
• Excellent time management skills
• Ability to remain calm and focused in a fast paced environment
• Team spirit with customer focused attitude
• Flexibility to work early morning shifts and weekends
• Certification from a culinary school is an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
