Bel-Air Toyota is looking for a FULL-TIME SALES RECEPTIONSIT

Hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm

Position Overview:

We are seeking a friendly, professional, and organized Automotive Sales Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our dealership. This role is vital to the smooth operation of our sales department and requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a customer-first attitude. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to multitask effectively while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for clients and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and assist customers entering the Sales Department, ensuring they are directed to the appropriate staff member or resource.
  • Answer incoming calls promptly and professionally; direct calls to the appropriate staff, and take accurate messages when necessary.
  • Maintain the garage registry for all used vehicles, ensuring records are accurate and up to date.
  • Process paperwork to transfer all used vehicles into the company's name, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
  • Assist with the licensing of both new and used vehicles, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately for sales and registration.
  • Handle the licensing process for wholesalers, ensuring full compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Process customer deposits using the debit machine and issue receipts accordingly.
  • Manage all dealer plates and used vehicle ownerships.
  • Assist with online chat inquiries through DriveCentric, ensuring prompt and professional communication.
  • Maintain a clean and organized front reception area, including general tidying as needed.
  • Ensure the coffee station remains clean, stocked, and operational throughout the day for both customers and staff.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

  • Bilingual in French and English is required.
  • Prior experience in a receptionist or administrative support role is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is considered an asset.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a professional and friendly demeanor.
  • Excellent organizational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Maintains a professional appearance and conducts themselves with courtesy and professionalism.
  • Comfortable with roles that require extended periods of sitting.
  • Flexible in taking on new tasks as requested by management and adjusting to changing priorities.
