We are seeking skilled lathe machinists capable of programming, setup and production during 1st shift. Join the M-1 team to work in a clean, modern, high-tech job shop with all newer machinery and equipment where you will work to produce interesting parts in prototype and short run production quantities.
*Positions Available: 1st Shift, 6:00AM-4:30PM *
*Requirements for a CNC Mazak Lathe Machinist: Program, Setup, and Operate Mazak Lathes. *
*Our Machinists are expected to work independently. *
· Minimum 10 years of experience or training using Mazak Mazatrol conversational programming (or equivalent) to program and operate their own machines.
· Must be able read and understand blueprints and associated technical specifications and use communication skills to produce high quality and close tolerance parts.
· Experience machining parts made from aluminum, heat treated stainless steels, titanium, Inconel, and other aerospace alloys required.
· Strong communication skills required to produce high quality and close tolerance parts.
· Knowledge of Aerospace quality system requirements and production environment is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 45 – 55 per week
