Responsibilities
  • Crafting Strategies: Define and roll out data quality strategies, policies, and procedures to keep our data accurate, complete, and consistent.
  • Collaborating with Stakeholders: Work hand-in-hand with various teams & data domains, integrating data quality processes into their workflows while educating them on its importance.
  • Setting Standards: Establish company-wide standards for data quality, including key indicators and targets.
  • Monitoring Metrics: Develop, track, and report on data quality metrics, keeping management and stakeholders in the loop.
  • Educating and Training: Create and oversee content to educate and train employees on data quality best practices.
  • Tool Implementation: Evaluate, select, and implement data quality tools, acting as the Product Owner to ensure it meets our needs.
  • Aligning with Governance: Partner with the Data Governance Manager to align roles and processes with our data governance framework.
  • Quality Control: Oversee the implementation of data quality controls, ensuring compliance with our standards.
  • Supporting the Team: Guide data quality coordinators and stewards in developing effective data quality rules and support their implementation.
Your Profile
  • Experience: Several years in data quality management, data governance, or metadata management within complex IT environments.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of data quality tools, technologies, data modeling, and data manipulation.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills with a knack for identifying and resolving data quality issues and a hands-on mentality.
  • Project Management: Experience managing data quality projects, preferably with agile methodologies.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, capable of juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Communication: Stellar communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
  • Language Proficiency: Fluency in English is a must; German is a bonus.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the banking or financial services sector is a plus.
