This role requires hands-on experience managing infrastructure components such as servers, networks, and virtualization environments, along with a proactive mindset for improving performance and reliability. You will be equally comfortable contributing to long-term IT planning and executing critical day-to-day functions. Strong collaboration skills are essential, as is the ability to work both independently and with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that align with business needs. This position is full-time Hybrid based out of our Bedford, TX office. How You Can Make An Impact
Provides advanced technical support by serving as the escalation point for complex issues related to hardware, software, and network systems, ensuring swift resolution and minimal disruption to business operations. Monitor the helpdesk ticketing system by analyzing trends, managing escalations, and coordinating assignments to identify root causes and drive long-term solutions. Partners closely with IT staff to contribute to short- and long-term initiatives, applying advanced troubleshooting skills and infrastructure knowledge to support scalable and secure deployments. Install, configure, maintain, and upgrade desktops, laptops, peripherals, and mobile technology to meet user and business requirements. Serves as the primary resource for resolving critical hardware and software issues, guiding junior support staff and ensuring documentation of resolution paths for future reference. Maintains vendor relationships to support procurement, warranty management, and timely service for hardware, software, and licensing needs. Develops and implements automation tools and scripts that reduce recurring helpdesk requests, enhance response efficiency, and support system health monitoring. Administers cloud-based productivity and infrastructure services such as Azure and AWS, supporting end-user functionality while ensuring proper access, security, and integration. Conducts proactive system maintenance by monitoring desktop health, performing software updates, and planning hardware refreshes to ensure reliability and compliance. Test, evaluate, and implement emerging technologies and software tools, balancing innovation with compatibility and adherence to internal standards. Produces and maintains user-focused technical documentation and training resources, supporting knowledge transfer and improving self-service capabilities for routine tasks. Collaborates with local and remote IT personnel to support business continuity planning and execution, contributing to disaster recovery readiness and emergency response protocols. Recommends, plans, and implements system upgrades, enhancements, and optimizations based on performance metrics, security considerations, and evolving business needs. Responsible for scheduling backup and recovery processes, validating data integrity, and executing recovery operations in alignment with organizational policies. Configures and maintains core infrastructure componentsincluding servers, workstations, printers, and networking devices ensuring seamless integration and operational stability across the environment. Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Information Technology or related field or equivalent work experience required. Minimum 5 years of experience in Systems Administration or IT Support required. Certifications such as A+, MCP, CCNA, MCSE, Azure, Cloud preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to interact with and provide guidance at all levels of staff. Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in troubleshooting and supporting Windows OS (W10/W11), Microsoft Office, and Outlook. Strong understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, TCP/IP, subnetting, and VoIP/Routing/Switching. Experience with cloud technologies, virtual machines, and PowerShell scripting. Familiarity with incidents and change management processes. Knowledge of automation tools and scripting for IT operations. Ability to assess and recommend hardware/software upgrades based on performance metrics. Strong understanding of enterprise IT environments, including production systems and operational standards.
