About
The Senior HPC Systems Administrator with Tulzi Technologies, LLC will play a critical role in the health and status of the entire IT infrastructure utilizing UNIX and NT based systems, installing and configuring hardware, operating systems, and commercial software packages. Position Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related field and (10) years of demonstrable experience in system administration, and support of a large client-server based IT enterprise. Or (5) years of full time computer science work in lieu of Bachelor's degree, and (10) years of demonstrable experience in system administration and support of a large client-server based IT enterprise. **An industry recognized professional certification may substitute as (1) year of experience Experience in installation and configuration of hardware, operating systems, and commercial software packages Experience in installation, configuration, and networking of UNIX and/or NT based platforms Additional Qualifications: Experience in the installation, and configuration of hardware, operating systems, and commercial software packages. Creating, modifying, and deleting user accounts, performing system back-ups, and maintaining system configuration files. Fundamental understanding of operating systems, and be familiar with either UNIX or NT commands or utilities at the user level. Must be able to develop, and enterprise backup/recovery strategies, server configuration, and consolidation, and verification of the health and status of the entire IT infrastructure. Must be able to provide support for enterprise services such as DNS, NFS, email services, security protection mechanisms, and the interoperability of UNIX and NT based systems. In addition to the above requirements the Storage System Administrator-System Admin IV must have the following qualifications required by the relevant TTO: Installation, configuration, tuning, troubleshooting, and administration of: Multi-vendor servers running numerous COTS, opensource, and in-house applications to accommodate HPC Division IT support requirements Multi-vendor servers running Redhat of SuSe with direct attached, FC SAN storage or SSDs Distributing computing tools such as ReS, LSF, and SLURM HPC farms systems, HPC MPP clustered systems, Front End servers of Special Purpose devices (SPDs) Network appliance clustered servers with direct attached and FC SAN storage Network appliance and SGI IRIX supported applications Brocade FC switch network Enterprise class arrays Solid State Disk (SSD) NFS/CIFS based server/storage appliance HPSE Data Domain and similar deduplication products Cloud based storage solutions such as HADOOP, and IBM Biginsights Trouble ticket management utilizing remedy IAT Level II Certification Required Benefits:
