Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network Engineer to support a program with the Intelligence Community on-site in Springfield, VA. The Network Engineer will deliver presentations to customer stakeholders and design and deploy network systems in accordance with customer requirements. This is a long-term job opportunity. Responsibilities for the Network Engineer include: Design and develop network configuration and settings as required for selected customer Assist in deployment activities Develop documentation on customer systems and objectives Meet with customers to capture and translate requirements Make configuration changes and deploy patches as necessary Troubleshoot and engineer Azure cloud environments Required Qualifications for the Network Engineer include: 6+ years of network engineering experience Must have active TS/SCI Bachelor's degree in related field Expertise in Layer 2/Layer 3 protocols Understanding of ExpressRoute and Azure Virtual Networks Experience in WAN/Internet transport and routing, including BGP, MPLS, SD-WAN Understanding of network security and STIG Compensation for the Network Engineer includes: Salary: $140,000 - $190,000 depending on experience Full Benefits: PTO, Paid Holidays, 401k, 100% Employer Paid Medical, Dental, Vision
