As a Senior Animator, you will bring life to characters and environments, utilizing state-of-the-art animation techniques in game engines, and mentoring junior animators to ensure top-notch quality.Responsibilities:Demonstrate extensive experience with shipping multiple game titles or equivalent projects.Utilize expertise in state machines and motion matching to create seamless and dynamic in-game proficiently in game engines like Unreal or Unity, ensuring smooth integration of and optimize animations in the game to enhance player experiences.Mentor junior animators, providing guidance and support during onboarding.Collaborate effectively with central teams and other game development teams, fostering communication and ownership of a specific area of the game or feature, leading the animation efforts.Share experience and insights through presentations at internal and external conferences.Stay current with the latest animation technologies and trends, incorporating new tech like AI, ML, VR/AR, and more into projects.Collaborate with global teams in various time zones, maintaining effective digital target videos to define animation goals and communicate them effectively.Direct talent during mocap sessions to capture authentic performances.Nice to Have:Experience in people management, providing leadership and guidance to animation teams.A passion for sports and football knowledge, contributing to sports-themed game development.Proficiency in coding, enabling collaboration with engineers and technical teams.Experience with cutting-edge animation technologies like chatGPT, mid-journey, mov.About Electronic Arts We're proud to have an extensive portfolio of games and experiences, locations around the world, and opportunities across EA.
