In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the architecture of their innovative solutions while guiding a junior team toward success. Who you are
- 4+ years of professional backend development experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python and the Django framework.
- Deep understanding of RESTful API design and best practices.
- Experience with microservices architecture and related tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes, gRPC).
- Proven track record of working on SaaS products, ideally at scale.
- Familiarity with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) and caching solutions (e.g., Redis).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Your tasks
- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems and services using Django.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs to support web and mobile applications.
- Architect and implement scalable microservices to support growing platform needs.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, product managers, and QA to deliver high-quality features.
- Ensure performance, security, and scalability of backend infrastructure.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Troubleshoot and debug production issues, and provide timely fixes.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions.
