Who you are

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with at least 3 years in a team leadership or management role.
  • Technical Skills: Strong expertise in system administration, networking, storage, and virtualization technologies. Familiarity with cloud solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure) is a plus.
  • Leadership: Proven experience managing and mentoring IT teams, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills to lead and motivate effectively.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work well under pressure and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications: Relevant industry certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft, ITIL) are advantageous.

Your tasks

  • Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of system engineers, ensuring effective performance management, skill development, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
  • Operational Oversight: Oversee day-to-day IT operations, ensuring high levels of performance, availability, and security within the IT infrastructure.
  • Hands-On Project Involvement: Take an active role in IT infrastructure projects, from planning and execution to troubleshooting and optimization, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Strategic Planning: Work with senior leadership to develop and implement IT strategies that align with business objectives and drive continuous improvement across IT systems and processes.
  • System Management: Oversee the deployment, configuration, and management of servers, storage, and network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
  • Network and Security Oversight: Ensure network and security solutions are in place to protect the organizationโ€™s infrastructure from threats, working with the team to troubleshoot issues and implement improvements.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Act as a key point of contact for IT infrastructure matters, collaborating with other departments to ensure technology needs are met and communicating project updates and system status effectively.
