A consulting and software development company that specializes in fintech solutions is looking for two new Italian speaking Data Scientists to join their team in Lugano. They are looking for a junior (2+ years of experience) as well as a senior (5+ years of experience).

Who you are

  • You are an experienced Data Scientist with very good knowledge in data analysis
  • You are comfortable programming in Python to manipulate data
  • You are used to the tool PowerBI and how to operate with it
  • As a Data Scientist you have a great understanding of SQL databases
  • You speak Italian fluently (C1+) and also speak English (B1+)

Your tasks

  • You work with stakeholders to find opportunities where data can improve a business further
  • You analyse data from companies, to optimize their procedures and build new business strategies
  • You develop data models and algorithms
  • You use your skills to make predictions about different developments based on the gathered data
  • You coordinate with a variety of teams and stakeholders to monitor the models you implemented
  • You create tools to see how accurate the data is and how well your models are performing
