Vacancy

Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience supporting financial trading systems.
  • Strong understanding of financial markets and asset classes, including cash equities, swaps, repos, trading workflows, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in German or French (B2 level or higher).
  • Familiarity with market data platforms (e.g., Reuters, Bloomberg) and order management systems (OMS).
  • Ability to analyze and interpret infrastructure logs, FIX messaging, and other system protocols.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced trading floor environment.
  • Proactive attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and self-improvement.

Your tasks

  • Provide first and second-line support for trading system issues to ensure prompt resolution and minimal trading disruptions.
  • Monitor system health with various tools, investigate and resolve anomalies or alerts.
  • Troubleshoot complex technical problems by analyzing logs, working with internal teams, and coordinating with external vendors as necessary.
  • Maintain detailed incident records in the ticketing system, monitor progress, and ensure timely issue resolution.
  • Work closely with developers, infrastructure teams, and vendors to deploy new system releases and enhancements with minimal trading disruption.
  • Participate in system upgrades, testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT) to ensure seamless transitions to new versions.
  • Document system configurations, workflows, and procedures to ensure accurate maintenance and support processes.
  • Identify and suggest improvements in system workflows, operational processes, and system performance.
  • Stay updated with market trends, industry best practices, and emerging technologies to provide informed support and contribute to system enhancements.
