POSITION OBJECTIVE:
This position is responsible for day-to-day social marketing activities under the direction of the Social Marketing Manager.
FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assists with editorial social calendars for all brands, including writing social copy.
• Schedules and posts approved content to all social media channels.
• Executes and tracks DC pulls, gift cards and winner information for social media giveaways and sweepstakes.
• Responsible for updating Smartsheets for all social projects and weekly content across all brands.
• Assists with weekly, monthly and quarterly social reporting.
• Builds and maintains strong relationships and communication with cross functional departments within NSSC and the field.
• Processes departmental invoices and check requests with A/P.
• Develops and maintains strong relationships with Social Media Customer Care team.
• Assists team with online community management and social listening.
• Performs miscellaneous research and other duties and projects as assigned.
This position may be found in multiple brands. Some duties may vary from brand to brand.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Social Marketing, PR, Communications, English or similar field strongly preferred
• 1+ years of experience strongly preferred
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft office; Excel, Word, Windows XP, PowerPoint, Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Reader
• Social Media savvy
• Excellent multi-tasking, organizing and planning skills
• Must be detail-oriented
• Confidentiality and the ability to manage sensitive information is a priority in this role
• Excellent interpersonal skills
