The Role You’ll be responsible for creating clear, engaging, and search-optimised content across our website, blog, newsletters, landing pages, course pages, and marketing funnels. You’ll work closely with our founder, marketing team, and SEO lead to deliver content that ranks well, resonates with our audience, and moves them to take action. Key Responsibilities Write weekly SEO-optimised blog posts on business, entrepreneurship, marketing, mindset, and small business trends Develop persuasive web copy for landing pages, course pages, and membership sales content Write email copy for nurture sequences, promotions, and onboarding flows Repurpose podcast transcripts, videos, and workshops into readable content Use tools like Surfer SEO, SEMrush, or Google Search Console to optimise for keywords and performance Follow brand tone of voice: confident, direct, British-English, results-focused Stay on top of UK trends affecting small business and translate them into readable, high-value content Who You Are A strong writer with a portfolio of blog posts, web copy, and email content Skilled in writing for both SEO and conversion Familiar with UK business language, spelling, and tone Confident using AI writing tools (like ChatGPT) but know how to humanise and elevate the output Able to research and write independently while sticking to brand guidelines Bonus: Experience writing for business coaches, online education, or consultancy services What You’ll Gain The chance to write for one of the UK’s most ambitious business brands Freedom to work remotely with flexible deadlines Consistent writing projects across blog, email, and web Opportunity to grow with a brand focused on quality, impact, and trust Access to our full Learning Vault, Business Lounge, and mentorship resources How to Apply Submit your CV, links to 2–3 writing samples (especially SEO blogs or landing pages), and a short note on why you're the perfect fit for a results-driven brand like Carlton Scott.
