*About Us:* Our established private practice in Lakewood is looking for a dedicated part-time Dental Hygienist to join our team. We are a small, family-friendly office with two doctors who are committed to providing patient-centered care. We place a high value on treating our patients and staff with dignity, respect, kindness, and understanding.
*Position Overview:* As a part-time Dental Hygienist, you will work two days a week, with no late nights or weekends required. We are seeking a skilled hygienist who is passionate about improving oral health and delivering personalized care that helps our patients achieve their healthiest, best smile.
*Key Responsibilities:*
* Conduct prophylaxis (cleanings) and periodontal maintenance.
* Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays).
* Screen patients for oral diseases and conditions.
* Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and the importance of maintaining oral health.
* Sterilize dental instruments and maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
* Collaborate with the dental team to ensure the highest standard of care.
*Qualifications:*
* Valid Dental Hygienist license in the state of Washington.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Commitment to continuing education and staying current with best practices in dental hygiene.
* Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
*Compensation:*
* Hourly pay range: $60-$70 (negotiable based on experience).
