Celtic Careers is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our client's Finance team on a 10-month fixed-term contract.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, business analysis and commercial support across several areas of the business.
This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant looking to broaden their experience within a dynamic and collaborative finance environment.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare monthly management accounts, budgets and forecasts for Company Overheads.
Act as the primary Finance contact, providing financial support and business partnering.
Complete monthly sales, margin and financial analysis for the division.
Manage accounting, budgeting and forecasting for overhead and advertising cost centres.
Prepare and submit bi-monthly VAT returns.
Oversee internal fleet vehicle pricing, accounting, reporting and analysis, while acting as the Finance contact for the fleet team.
Process monthly dealer payments, perform account reconciliations and provide related analysis and reporting.
Partner with the Product team
- pricing, margin analysis and reporting.
Review marketing costings and sponsorship agreements, providing financial analysis and reporting.
Support the annual external audit and help ensure an efficient audit process.
Complete monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
Prepare financial information for the annual insurance renewal.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and company financial policies.
Provide cover for finance administration activities as required.
Build strong working relationships with colleagues across the business and external partners.
Support the Finance Manager with ad hoc financial projects and reporting.
Requirement: Part-qualified accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, CPA or CIMA).
Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail.
The ability to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment while managing changing priorities.
Confidence in interpreting, analysing and communicating financial information to stakeholders.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative approach.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience using financial systems.
A proactive, flexible and solutions-focused mindset.
