As a Business Development Representative, you'll work directly with business owners, general managers, and company leaders to help them provide valuable employee benefits that improve the lives of their teams. What You'll Do
  • Build relationships with local business owners and organizational leaders
  • Generate new business through prospecting, networking, referrals, and outreach
  • Conduct face-to-face meetings and presentations with decision-makers
  • Identify client needs and recommend appropriate employee benefit solutions
  • Manage and grow a designated sales territory
  • Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the sales process
  • Participate in ongoing sales and leadership development programs
  • Contribute to team growth while achieving individual performance goals
Who We're Looking For
  • 1+ year of sales experience preferred
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Belief in the value of face-to-face interactions and consultative selling
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • Coachable, adaptable, and eager to learn
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Goal-oriented with a desire for personal and professional growth
  • Ability to commute within the Kansas City area
  • Willingness to work in a field-based, in-person environment

Compensation
  • Full-Time Position
  • First-Year Earning Potential: $70,000-$95,000+
