This position reports to the Health Wellness Director./ppEssential Responsibilities:/pulliProvides assistance as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living./liliFollows the schedule of residents needs set out by supervisor./liliProvides emotional and social support to residents./liliDocuments daily log of assistance./liliInforms supervisor of any resident issues or concerns./liliRespect and encourage the independence and dignity of the residents./liliCaregiver respects residents confidentiality./liliIs familiar with emergency equipment and procedures./liliAttends all required training, in-service, and staff meetings./liliStrives to maintain a safe working environment through the prevention of accidents, the preservation of equipment, and the achievement of safe working practices./liliCaregiver maintains a positive and professional demeanor toward residents, visitors, families, and co-workers./liliAdheres to all policies and procedures of Morningside Elite Management./liliPerforms other duties as assigned./li/ulpQualifications Requirements:/pulliA High School Diploma or General Education Degree; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience./liliRequires CNA licensure/li/ulpMorningside Elite Management provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws./p/div
