divh2Nursing Assistant Position/h2pProvides basic nursing care to residents within the scope of the nursing assistant responsibilities and performs basic nursing procedures under the direction of the licensed nurse supervisor. Hiring for all shifts!/ph3Principal Responsibilities/h3ulliParticipates in and receives nursing report upon reporting for duty and documents information accurately/liliAssists with lifting, positioning, and transporting residents into and out of beds, chairs, bathtubs, wheelchairs, lifts, etc./liliAssists residents in ambulation with or without self-help devices as instructed/liliAccurately measures and records temperatures, pulses, respirations, and blood pressures (TPRs and B/P) as instructed/liliEnsures that residents personal care needs are being met in accordance with residents wishes/liliMaintains cleanliness of resident units, central bathing area, treatment and supply rooms, workrooms, and linen closets; cleans bedpans, urinals, and commodes; washes basins and emesis basins; sanitizes bathtub after each residents use; cleans floors if resident is incontinent; wipes spilled foods and liquids/liliAdvises charge nurse of resident(s) condition beginning and end of shift/liliAbility to comply with Company and departmental safety policies and procedures/liliAccount for personal care (i.e. Grooming, bathing, catheter care, and dressing), and observation of residents within patient care guidelines. Identify and report any condition requiring management attention/liliProvides hydration to all residents according to center policy/liliEnsures all protected health information is kept confidential/liliReports all allegations of resident abuse, neglect and/or misappropriation of resident property/liliProvides range of motion exercise/liliAssures that residents are positioned appropriately for meals/liliServes food trays and assists with feeding as indicated/liliDelivers and documents all a.m., p.m., and bedtime snacks and supplements/liliPerforms miscellaneous tasks as required by policy or nurse supervisor/li/ulh3Physical Demands Office/h3pWhile performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to use hands or finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is required to stand; walk; sit; reach with hands and arms and pull/push; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must lift and/or move up to 50 pounds without assistance and 51-100 pounds with assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus/ph3Work Environment Office/h3pThis job operates in a professional office environment with minimal exposure to dust, chemicals, or noise. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines./p/div
