Overview
The Deli Clerk is responsible for carrying out the full range of duties of the position in a professional, responsible, accurate and timely fashion. The Clerk will deliver exceptional customer service, foster customer loyalty, fulfill customer needs and actively contribute to an environment of employee and customer engagement.
Job Description
u2022 Adhere to all Food Safety Protocols, Standard Operating Procedures, Health and Safety,
corporate policies, and other programs and initiatives
u2022 Provide customer service to meet customer needs
u2022 Keep work area clean and presentable
u2022 Process customer deli orders
u2022 Perform program execution and merchandising of product
u2022 Handle and prepare Seafood products
u2022 Increase store sales by actively promoting products
u2022 Participate in the training of junior staff
u2022 Order and receive stock in accordance with company inventory control procedures as required
u2022 Process department shrink
u2022 Maintain a clean and safe working environment as per Company requirements
u2022 Other duties as required
