Retail Store Area Team Leader

The hourly pay range for this position is $24 to $26 per hour, and it is eligible for overtime at a rate of $36.00 to $39.00 per hour. Your everyday perks and protection include:

As a Store Area Team Leader at OSJL, you will ensure all areas within your responsibility adhere to company merchandising standards, manage the efficient flow of merchandise, and provide leadership and support to store teams. Key responsibilities include:

  • Strategic leadership and profitability: Support company programs flawlessly to maximize revenue and achieve store goals.
  • Backroom efficiency: Lead and support an efficient freight flow process, maintain a well-organized backroom, and achieve a 24-hour freight turnaround.
  • Inventory management: Partner with the Store Team Leader to maintain optimal store inventory levels and ensure proper merchandising and product placement.
  • Foster a collaborative team: Support the recruitment, training, and development of store associates and nurture high-potential associates.
  • Championing a positive store culture: Ensure the store exceeds company standards for merchandising, cleanliness, and overall presentation.
  • Customer service champion: Monitor and maintain exceptional customer service, maintaining store cleanliness and visual standards.
  • Leveraging technology: Support HCM processes, including associate data and timekeeping, benefits, and learning management system (LMS) operations.

Qualifications: 4+ years of previous retail management experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. Proficient in Google platform (i.e., Sites, Slides, Drive, Docs, Sheets). Preferred experience with HCM and Business Intelligence tools. Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Long periods of remaining stationary, moving, and positioning oneself to complete assigned tasks are required throughout the shift.
