Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Payroll Administrator to support the Payroll, Benefits, and Compensation Manager in the full-cycle payroll processing for our organization. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with payroll systems and a strong understanding of payroll processes, compliance requirements, and reporting. This role is essential in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with federal, provincial, and company regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly and/or monthly payroll for salaried, hourly, and contract employees
- Maintain and update employee payroll records, including pay and benefits entitlements, in the HCM system
- Use Dayforce to manage payroll data, troubleshoot system issues, and ensure accurate reporting
- Support payroll compliance with federal and provincial legislation
- Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, deductions, and benefits
- Collaborate with the Payroll Manager to identify and implement process improvements
- Assist with testing and implementation of payroll system updates and new features
- Support training related to payroll system changes and updates
- Monitor and track leave balances, overtime, and other employee entitlements in accordance with company policies
- Stay current on legislative changes impacting payroll and support required updates
- Complete, verify, and process documentation related to government programs and benefits administration (e.g., CPEEP)
Qualifications
- Proven experience in full-cycle payroll processing within a mid-sized organization (300+ employees)
- Experience with HCM or payroll systems; strong proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office
- Solid knowledge of payroll legislation, employment standards, and tax regulations
- High attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Nous sommes à la recherche d’un(e) administrateur(trice) de la paie rigoureux(se) et organisé(e) pour soutenir le/la gestionnaire de la paie, des avantages sociaux et de la rémunération dans le traitement complet du cycle de paie de l’organisation. Le/la candidat(e) idéal(e) possède une expérience pratique des systèmes de paie ainsi qu’une solide compréhension des processus de paie, des exigences de conformité et de la production de rapports. Ce rôle est essentiel pour assurer que les employés soient rémunérés avec exactitude et en temps opportun, tout en respectant les lois fédérales, provinciales et les politiques internes.
Responsabilités principales
- Traiter la paie aux deux semaines et/ou mensuellement pour les employés salariés, horaires et contractuels
- Maintenir et mettre à jour les dossiers de paie des employés, incluant la rémunération et les avantages sociaux, dans le système HCM
- Utiliser Dayforce pour gérer les données de paie, résoudre les problèmes système et assurer l’exactitude des rapports
- Soutenir la conformité aux lois fédérales et provinciales en matière de paie
- Répondre aux questions des employés concernant la paie, les déductions et les avantages sociaux
- Collaborer avec le/la gestionnaire de la paie pour améliorer les processus et l’efficacité
- Participer aux tests et à l’implantation des mises à jour du système de paie
- Soutenir la formation liée aux changements et mises à jour du système
- Suivre les soldes de congés, les heures supplémentaires et autres droits conformément aux politiques de l’entreprise
- Se tenir informé(e) des changements législatifs et soutenir leur mise en application
- Compléter, vérifier et traiter les formulaires liés aux programmes gouvernementaux et à l’administration des avantages (ex. CPEEP)
Qualifications
- Expérience en traitement complet de la paie dans une organisation de taille moyenne (300+ employés)
- Expérience avec des systèmes HCM ou de paie; excellente maîtrise d’Excel et de la suite Microsoft Office
- Bonne connaissance de la législation en matière de paie, des normes du travail et des réglementations fiscales
- Grand souci du détail et excellentes compétences organisationnelles
- Capacité à gérer des informations confidentielles avec discrétion
- Excellentes aptitudes en communication et en résolution de problèmes
- Capacité à travailler de façon autonome et en équipe dans un environnement dynamique
