Locum Tenens Opportunity: Urologist Near Yellow Jacket, CO

We are actively seeking a skilled Urologist to provide locum tenens coverage near Yellow Jacket, CO. This is an exciting opportunity for a board-certified Urologist to join a dynamic healthcare team and make a significant impact in a community setting. The position is available immediately and offers the possibility of ongoing coverage. Key Responsibilities:
  • Shift Details :
    • Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM (day shifts) and 4:00 PM - 7:00 AM (night call)
    • Saturday-Sunday: 24-hour call coverage from 7:00 AM - 7:00 AM
    • Provide one week of coverage per month on an ongoing basis
  • Patient Care :
    • See patients in both outpatient and inpatient settings, including the emergency room and clinic
    • Perform various urological procedures in the OR as required
  • Support Staff :
    • Work with a multidisciplinary team including Medical Assistants (MA), Nurse Practitioners (NP), Physician Assistants (PA), and Registered Nurses (RN)
Certification & Licensure Requirements:
  • Board Certification : Must be board certified in Urology
  • State License : Active Colorado medical license required
  • Additional Certifications :
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • Valid DEA license
  • Emergency/Temp Privileges : Yes, temporary privileges are available to expedite the start date
Work Environment:
  • EMR System : EPIC
  • FTE : 0.5 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE)
  • Procedures : A wide range of urological procedures will be expected, including both routine and emergency surgeries.
