COTA Occupational Therapy Assistant

Schedule: Days

Assignment Details:

  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Guaranteed Hours: 36

Requirements:

  • License: Current COTA license required
  • Certifications: CPR certification preferred

Roles & Responsibilities:

  • Assist patients in developing, recovering, and improving the skills needed for daily living and working.
  • Collaborate with occupational therapists to create and implement treatment plans.
  • Conduct therapeutic activities under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists.
  • Document patient progress and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
  • Ensure a safe and clean environment for patient treatment activities.
  • Educate patients and their families about therapeutic assignments and goals.
