divh2Rental Inside Sales Representative/h2pCarter Machinery Company, the authorized Caterpillar dealer serving Virginia, West Virginia, Maryland, Delaware and Washington D.C., is hiring an Inside Sales Representative for their Rental Division in Baltimore, Maryland. The Rental Inside Sales Representative is responsible for managing incoming rental portal inquiries and making outbound calls to customers seeking rental sales opportunities ensuring each customer receives fast, professional service. The individual in this role will work closely with the Territory Sales Representatives and local store teams to satisfy leads and customer inquiries. The Rental Inside Sales Representative is critical to the day-to-day execution of the rental business to reach acceptable sales and profit levels./ppSeeking candidates with a high school diploma or equivalent, required; experience in the equipment rental industry and knowledge of equipment applications, preferred; demonstrated results in a customer service role./ppRequirements for the Rental Inside Sales Representative position include:/pulliSelf-starter able to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision./liliExceptional customer satisfaction skills and the ability to build solid relationships required./liliMust have excellent written, verbal and telephone communication skills./liliTechnical aptitude is a must./liliUnderstand and practice effective sales techniques./liliComputer skills are required, including Microsoft products and other applications as needed; able to learn Caterpillars Dealer Business System (DBS) and related rental software programs./liliMust be able to work additional hours to meet customer and business demands./liliMust be able to multitask, have good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks with competing demands./liliMust be able to work in a high volume, fast-paced environment./liliPromote a positive customer experience./liliUphold the Core Values of Integrity, Commitment, Excellence and Teamwork by embracing The Carter Way./li/ulpPhysical requirements must be met for the Rental Inside Sales Representative job, including regularly being required to sit and talk or hear. $44.57 per hour. Actual base pay may vary based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, education, geographic location, and other business needs.
