About
In coordination with the Sales department, this role is responsible for inbound and outbound sales efforts driven by research, marketing initiatives, networking, and outreach. Responsible for soliciting and servicing business in the operation in accordance with the marketing plan and assigned market segments. Generates a high profile and quality perception in the marketplace. Responsible for maximizing profitability and ensuring overall client satisfaction. This role is required to work a minimum of 40 hours per week. They must be able to work flexible scheduled shifts based on business needs Monday - Friday. Occasional scheduling will include nights and weekends depending on events and functions. Some travel will be required. Prospecting - 60%
Building a client base through internet research, sales calls, prospecting, direct mail, networking and referrals Adding 30 contacts per week to database and starting on appropriate correspondence sequence Responding to customer inquiries Following up on sequence results Passing all qualified leads for season/year long contracts to Director for Sales Manager assignment. Communicating all relevant information to the appropriate departments in a detailed manner Maintaining consistent communication with the Account Manager and the Client to ensure a beneficial relationship and client satisfaction. Travel to and from businesses of potential clients, as requested. Attend trade shows and conferences, as requested. Sales - 30%
All sales for all professional or collegiate sports teams that meet one of the following criteria: single game/meal; all hotel leads; as designated by Director Preparing proposals and contracts for clients within the assigned market segment that meet the financial objectives of the company Follow-up and closing sales to meet quarterly sales goals Make in-person sales calls to potential clients at their place of business on a monthly, or semi monthly basis (as determined by management). Coordination of all menu selection, BEO creation and all communication with vendors and facilities for the events that meet on of these criteria: For all single game/meal events, hotel sales, tournaments and contracts that occur within 2 weeks of meal dates Responsible for the execution and completion of the event and client satisfaction Administrative - 10%
Attend daily sales weekly staff meetings, sales meetings and department meetings, as requested. Complete commission report monthly and submit to Director by 5th of each month Complete mileage report monthly and submit to Accounting by 1st of each month Complete all training and continued education as requested. Follow the supervisor's instructions and complete all other duties as assigned. Work schedule
