We are seeking an Audit Director who will not only oversee auditing processes but also play a crucial part in enhancing our clients' business operations. As a leader in our auditing team, you will ensure compliance with best practices, identify significant operational challenges, and provide expert recommendations to drive value for our clients. This is your opportunity to influence the strategic direction of audit engagements while fostering strong relationships with clients and team members alike. Key Responsibilities Required Skills: Proven experience in audit within a reputable firm. Strong understanding of accounting principles, auditing standards, and relevant regulations. Exceptional leadership and supervisory skills with experience managing teams. Advanced technical knowledge in preparing and completing audit files and financial statements. Proficiency in building and maintaining client relationships. Ability to identify issues, provide solutions, and communicate findings effectively. Nice to Have Skills: Experience with consolidation and group accounts. Proven experience in auditing SMEs or firms within the hospitality or music industry. Knowledge of income taxes and corporation tax computations. Proficiency in handling various client engagements, including due diligence and financial analysis reports. Familiarity with technological tools used in auditing. Preferred Education and Experience: Qualified ACCA, ACA, CPA, or equivalent designation. A minimum of 5 years of experience in audit, including considerable leadership experience. Experience within a practice environment and exposure to diverse industries. Other Requirements: Willingness to travel for client engagements as needed. Maintain continuous professional development (CPD) requirements.
