About

Data Skill Source is hiring a senior *Technical Solutions Consultant* on contract to support one of our fast-growing *B2B SaaS clients in the intake-to-procurement orchestration space*. You'll join their UK Dedicated Services team, embedded on enterprise customer projects to lead solution design, configuration, and rollout of their platform.
This is a senior, client-facing role for someone who has already led procurement transformation workstreams and is comfortable owning a workstream end-to-end — from design through go-live.
*Contract details*
* Length: 3+ months minimum, with extensions likely
* Hours: 35 to 40 per week
* Rate: £60–£80 per hour, depending on experience
* Location: UK-based; fully-remote
*What You'll Do*
Project & Workstream Leadership
* Lead solution design workshops with enterprise customers — translating their procurement processes into platform configuration.
* Own a workstream (CLM, sourcing, intake-to-procure, supplier management, S2C, S2P) from design through UAT and go-live.
* Coordinate across adjacent workstreams and integration teams to keep the overall programme on track.
* Manage client stakeholders day-to-day; escalate cleanly when needed.
Technical Configuration & Delivery
* Configure the platform to match each customer's procurement processes — approval routing, intake forms, supplier onboarding, contract workflows.
* Design integrations between the platform and customer ERPs (NetSuite, Oracle, Workday, SAP) — APIs, data flows, sync patterns.
* Build and execute test scripts; coordinate UAT; manage defect triage through to release.
* Migrate legacy data (contracts, suppliers, master data) from prior systems.
Stakeholder & Governance
* Run live demos and design sessions for senior client stakeholders.
* Document decisions, configurations, and handover materials for downstream support teams.
* Bring structure to ambiguity — identify gaps in requirements, propose options, drive decisions.
*Requirements*
Experience
* 6+ years in procurement transformation, source-to-pay / source-to-contract implementation, or enterprise SaaS delivery consulting.
* Hands-on experience with Coupa, Zip, SAP Ariba, Ivalua, Jaggaer, or a similar procurement platform — ideally as a technical or functional consultant on implementation projects.
* Workstream lead or solution architect experience on at least 2–3 enterprise deployments.
* Comfortable with API integrations, data migration, and ERP touchpoints (NetSuite, Oracle, Workday, SAP).
Skills & Style
* Strong facilitation: you can run a design workshop with senior client stakeholders and walk away with clear decisions.
* Clear, direct written and verbal English — polished but not corporate.
* Comfortable working autonomously with light oversight; flag risks early; escalate cleanly.
* Project / programme management instincts — you don't need to be a PMP, but you need to think like one.
*Preferred Qualifications*
* Coupa Technical Architect, Zip Admin Fundamentals, or equivalent platform certifications
* PMP, PMO-CP, P3O, or Agile certifications
* Big-4 or management consultancy delivery background
* Exposure to AI-enabled workflow or low-code automation platforms
