Eaton's ES AMER NAS division is currently seeking a Regional Project Service Sales Specialist. Candidates must reside within 75 miles of the following locations to be considered for the position: Amherst, NY, Hanover, MD; Moon Township, PA; Boothwyn, PA; Mountainside, NJ; Franklin, MA or Lewiston, ME. What You'll Do:
The primary function of the Regional Project Service Sales Specialist (RPS3) is to sell Eaton's Engineering Services Project Services offering to customers in the northeast region. The customer base includes mission critical customers, including federal, state and local governments, as well as companies in the data center, industrial, utility and institutional spaces. These projects include turnkey design, procurement and construction of electrical infrastructure solutions. In this role, you will be a partner with vertical sales teams to lead the commercial process for multi-year opportunities. You will be the regional expert on the product services offering, develop the regional strategy, lead training for internal sales teams, leading opportunity vetting, conduct site walks, scope alignment and customer meetings, while partnering with our local service sales specialists and outside sales engineers to deliver high quality proposals and value-added solutions to the customer base. In this function you will: Be a subject matter expert on Eaton's project services offering, and train and coach team members on the offering Work with vertical sales teams to discover and develop project service opportunities Lead discovery to award process for turnkey project opportunities, including opportunity vetting, site walks, scope alignment, proposal delivery and opportunity closure; identify and develop process improvement opportunities for the sales and proposal teams to maximize throughput Develop customer relationships within key customers' organizations Lead a sustainable growth strategy with focus on geographic and product line diversification for project services in the region Work with Eaton's internal support teams to develop customer solutions Act as the voice of the customer to Eaton's product lines, ensuring high customer service and satisfaction Prepare and present quotations to customers Qualifications:
Required (Basic) Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution Minimum five (5) years of electrical industry experience Possess a valid driver's license No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates within a 75-mile radius of Amherst, NY; Hanover, MD; Moon Township, PA; Boothwyn, PA; Mountainside, NJ; Franklin, MA or Lewiston, ME will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation. This position requires access to export-controlled information. To conform to U.S. government export regulations applicable to that information, an applicant must be a U.S. person defined as a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.S.C. 1157, or (iv) asylee under 8 U.S.C. 1158. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering Five (5) years electrical solution sales experience Skills:
