We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Territory Sales Manager to lead business development efforts for our Compressed Air Systems within a defined Louisiana territory. This role is ideal for a self-motivated sales professional with experience in capital equipment (CAPEX) and air compressor or pump solutions, who thrives in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment. The successful candidate will bring strong technical sales expertise, a strategic mindset, and the ability to build and maintain lasting relationships with both customers and internal stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
Identify, develop, and convert new business opportunities within the assigned territory Manage and grow key accounts by fostering strong, long-term customer relationships Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts to evaluate market trends and drive performance Create and execute territory strategies to increase revenue, profitability, and market share Proactively follow up on all quotes to ensure customer satisfaction and track outcomes Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive offerings Qualifications
Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent combination of education and experience Proven experience in outside technical sales, preferably in industrial or mechanical equipment Demonstrated success in account management and business development Experience with CAPEX sales and air compressors/pumps strongly preferred Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills Strong business acumen with the ability to balance competitive positioning and profitability Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Willingness to travel up to 30% within the territory Valid driver's license and clean driving record Physical Demands.
