Who We Are
HII Mission Technologies New Nuclear Group delivers advanced engineering, manufacturing, and program support solutions that enable the next generation of nuclear capability in the United States. Our team supports high-consequence, highly regulated environments where precision, compliance, and technical discipline are essential. We are seeking a Quality Analyst 4 to join our organization and drive excellence across quality systems, processes, and program execution.
**This position is contingent upon contract award**
What You Will Do
Develops and implements program quality plans and procedures. Ensures that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards. Reviews, analyzes and reports on quality discrepancies and data related to production. Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies. Interfaces with stakeholders to ensure requirements are met. Recommends corrective actions, dispositions, process optimization and modifications.
What You Must Have
10 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 8 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 14 years relevant experience. Candidate must have direct experience with commercial nuclear quality programs and manufacturing of structural steel components. Candidate must have strong knowledge of quality systems, audits, root cause analysis methods, and continuous improvement methodologies. Candidate must have experience interpreting and applying standards such as NQA-1, ISO 9001, or similar. Candidate must have experience working analytical skills with the ability to work with complex datasets, performance metrics, and quality indicators. Candidate must have excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse technical and non-technical stakeholders. Candidate must have experience developing or maintaining controlled documentation and participating in structured review processes.
Bonus Points For Having!
Applying standards and understanding NQA-1, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21. Experience in nuclear manufacturing, nuclear construction, shipbuilding, or commercial nuclear environments. Certifications such as ASQ CQE, CQA, Six Sigma Green/Black Belt, or equivalent.
Physical Requirements
Possible exposure to fumes and irritants normally encountered in an industrial or shipboard environment. May involve gathering of data while observing machinery or equipment operations.
