Field Evaluations Sales Manager
The Field Evaluation Sales Manager is responsible for both global and domestic field evaluation sales to expand SGS brand awareness within the field evaluation industry for the North American division of Connectivity. The job functions include contributing to the development and execution of the overall sales strategy for Field Evaluations to establish a robust pipeline of revenue, generating and closing leads and opportunities within strategic business units for global and domestic accounts, building and maintaining effective relationships with key internal customers and support teams, developing and issuing quotations and proposals, negotiating fees, terms and conditions as necessary, identifying and driving key growth initiatives based on target markets and service offerings, working with corporate marketing to drive awareness of SGS capabilities, developing and executing sales presentations for clients, collaborating with the Operations Manager and Department Manager on a coordinated sales approach, presenting to clients regarding our delivery capabilities, performing key sales administrative functions, acting as the lead person on preparing the written proposal in response to customer's RFP, leading periodic pipeline meetings to drive sales actions and alignment with strategy, serving on and contributing to IAEI business communities, contributing to SGS Field Evaluations global business strategies, maintaining knowledge of the SGS Group network and services, actively promoting the image, capability and integrity of SGS to the account, adopting a safe behavior by exercising applicable health and safety rules and regulations of SGS employees and clients, complying with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct, adhering to internal standards, policies and procedures, and performing other duties as assigned. Qualifications include a Bachelor's or equivalent (preferred), 10+ years of relevant experience in sales / account management within client service industry (Required), 5+ years of previous supervisory experience (Preferred), experience in managing other sales resources (Required), language skills in English with other languages being a plus, mathematical skills, reasoning skills/abilities, computer skills in MS Office Suite, ability to work in team environment and maintain professional behavior, strong client engagement skills, excellent communication skills, and attention to detail.
