The
Cloud Software Architect
will architect the modernization of enterprise‑class software applications. They will work in coordination with agile development teams and other stakeholders to architect, design, build, migrate, expand, automate, and sustain a large, multi‑tenant cloud platform/enterprise. Leveraging extensive experience in cloud software architecture, the role directs the development of this exciting new solution.
MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT
Design, architect, deploy, and maintain cloud solutions
Maintain the integrity and security of systems
Support and develop automation
Develop in languages such as Bash, Python, Node.js, and React.js
Maintain/enhance knowledge of AWS cloud services
Compose and maintain standard operating procedures and work instructions, knowledge articles, etc.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED
Education: Training, Certificate, or Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Programming, Computer Engineering or relevant experience preferred
Experience: 10+ years of related experience with AWS cloud computing
Required Skills:
Proficiency in Bash, Python, Node.js, and React.js
Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or CloudFormation
Understanding of RESTful APIs and event‑driven architecture
Linux OS experience
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (UI/UX designers, product managers, developers) to deliver high‑quality solutions
Experience with application using serverless architecture and/or containerization
Extensive SDLC experience
Excellent communication skills with demonstrated experience delivering presentations to diverse audiences at various levels of an organization
Required Certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
Security Clearance Level: Must be able to pass a background check to obtain a position of Public Trust
Must be US Person (Green Card Holder, US Permanent Resident Alien, Refugee, Asylee, or US Citizen)

Compensation: $170,144 – $207,000 (salary may vary based on experience, location, and contract)
