Interior Design Construction Project Manager Requirements & Qualifications Demonstrated experience managing commercial interior construction projects, ideally in subcontractor or multi-trade environments. Strong understanding of trade coordination (drywall, ceilings, lighting, millwork, flooring, etc.). Ability to read and interpret shop drawings and complex construction documentation. Proven skill in managing material lead times, sequencing, and scheduling in finish-driven environments. Clear, professional communication and problem-solving mindset. Interior Design Construction Project Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities Oversee commercial interior construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. Coordinate the work of subcontractors, vendors, and site teams to ensure flawless execution. Drive schedules and sequencing, adapting plans in real time to resolve issues. Manage RFIs, change orders, and field adjustments efficiently. Identify potential conflicts before they impact timelines or quality. Maintain clear communication and accountability with all project stakeholders.
