SOMMAIRE DU POSTE
Notre client est à la recherche d’un(e) Spécialiste en ressources humaines expérimenté(e) et proactif(ve) pour soutenir et gérer les opérations des ressources humaines de l’école.
Relevant du Directeur des finances et des ressources humaines, le/la spécialiste RH supervisera les fonctions clés des RH, notamment les relations de travail, l’administration des avantages sociaux, le recrutement, la conformité et l’administration de la paie. La personne titulaire veillera à ce que toutes les pratiques RH et de paie respectent la législation du travail du Québec, tout en favorisant un milieu de travail respectueux, professionnel et aligné sur la mission de l’école.
RESPONSABILITÉS PRINCIPALES
- Administrer et superviser les processus de paie en collaboration avec le service des finances, en assurant l’exactitude, le respect des délais et la conformité réglementaire;
- Gérer les programmes d’avantages sociaux, les régimes de retraite (RREGOP et RRPE) ainsi que les différents types d’absences (RQAP, CNESST, invalidité);
- Diriger le cycle complet de recrutement : affichage, présélection, entrevues, références et vérifications d’antécédents;
- Superviser le cycle de vie des employés (embauche, intégration, départ);
- Assurer la conformité aux normes du travail du Québec et à la Charte de la langue française (Loi 96);
- Gérer les relations de travail et soutenir la résolution de conflits;
- Maintenir des dossiers RH exacts et confidentiels et produire des rapports au besoin;
- Participer à l’élaboration et à la mise en œuvre des politiques et initiatives RH;
- Contribuer à l’amélioration continue des processus RH.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Baccalauréat en ressources humaines ou domaine connexe;
- Titre CRHA / CHRP ou CIRP / CRIA fortement souhaité;
- 5 ans et plus d’expérience en ressources humaines, idéalement en milieu scolaire ou OBNL au Québec;
- Excellente connaissance des lois du travail du Québec, de la CNESST, de la paie et des régimes de retraite;
- Grande discrétion et professionnalisme;
- Excellentes compétences interpersonnelles et en résolution de conflits;
- Très bonnes capacités d’organisation et d’analyse;
- Bilinguisme avancé (français et anglais);
- Maîtrise de Google Workspace et Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).

POSITION SUMMARY
Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Human Resources Specialist to support and manage the school’s HR operations.
Reporting to the Director of Finance and Human Resources, the HR Specialist will oversee key HR functions, including employee relations, benefits administration, recruitment, compliance, and payroll administration. The successful candidate will ensure that all HR and payroll practices comply with Quebec labour legislation while fostering a respectful and professional workplace aligned with the school’s mission.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administer and oversee payroll processes in collaboration with the Finance Department, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance;
- Manage employee benefits programs, pension plans (RREGOP and RRPE), and leave programs (QPIP, CNESST, disability claims);
- Lead the full recruitment cycle including job postings, screening, interviews, references, and background checks;
- Oversee the employee lifecycle (onboarding, integration, offboarding);
- Ensure compliance with Quebec labour standards and the Charter of the French Language (Bill 96);
- Manage employee relations and support conflict resolution;
- Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and prepare reports as needed;
- Participate in the development and implementation of HR policies and initiatives;
- Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field;
- CRHA / CHRP or CIRP / CRIA designation strongly preferred;
- Minimum of 5 years of HR experience, ideally in the education sector or a non-profit organization in Quebec;
- Strong knowledge of Quebec labour laws, CNESST, payroll, and pension plans;
- High level of discretion and professionalism;
- Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills;
- Excellent organizational and analytical abilities;
- Advanced bilingualism in French and English;
- Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
