Job Description

About your tasks:

  • Collaborate with the team to design, build, and maintain a robust and scalable infrastructure that can handle high levels of traffic and real-time transactions.
  • Manage and optimize Linux-based systems to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Utilize Kubernetes to orchestrate containers and maintain containerized applications effectively.
  •  Work with OpenStack and Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies to manage and improve our cloud infrastructure.
  • Implement automation tools and scripts for provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes to streamline operations.
  • Set up and maintain monitoring systems to ensure the health and security of the infrastructure. Respond to and mitigate security threats as needed.
Qualifications

About you:

  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer in a senior role, ideally in a high-traffic, operational environment.
  • Strong expertise in Linux administration and shell scripting.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, OpenStack, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g., Git).

Remote work policy:

Our offices are open, but you are free to work from home, from any location in Germany. It is entirely up to you if you want to pop into the office every now and again, or if you work from home all the time. At the same time, we value relationship between all members of the area and therefore we have regular team and area anchor days on which every team member is asked to come to the office.
