Perform detailed design on a variety of civil engineering projects, ensuring quality and accuracy. Complete projects within budget, timeline, and scope, while adhering to project specifications and standards. Prepare and maintain technical correspondence, engineering reports, and documentation. Utilize CAD software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation) to develop design solutions, perform engineering analysis, and produce maps, drawings, and takeoffs for cost estimating. Conduct necessary calculations for mapping, design analysis, and construction staking to support project development. Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary design team, working under the direct supervision of a Registered Civil Engineer to ensure project success. Ensure that designs are compliant with applicable codes, regulations, and industry standards. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or related field). Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred. 2+ years of relevant experience in civil engineering design. Demonstrated proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation). Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, practices, and design techniques. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
