Speech and Language Therapist The Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) will work as part of a multidisciplinary Childrens Disability Network Team (CDNT) to provide comprehensive assessment and intervention services to children and young people (0-18 years) with complex needs arising from disabilities. The SLT will contribute to family-centred practice, supporting the childs functional communication, feeding, and overall development. This is a role based in Tipperary and I would discuss with an experienced Staff or Senior Responsibilities of Speech and Language Therapist Provide assessment, diagnosis, and intervention for children with speech, language, and communication needs, as well as feeding and swallowing difficulties. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, which may include Occupational Therapists, Physiotherapists, Psychologists, Social Workers, and other Health and Educational professionals. Deliver services in family-centred models, using evidence-informed and best practices. Develop and implement individualised intervention plans, involving parents/carers and relevant community supports. Participate in team meetings, case discussions, and service planning. Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential reports and clinical records. Provide education, support, and training to parents, carers, and other professionals as required. Engage in ongoing professional development and reflective practice. Contribute to service development initiatives, audits, and quality improvement projects. Requirements of Speech and Language Therapist Recognised degree in Speech and Language Therapy. CORU registration as a Speech and Language Therapist (or eligible for same). Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Full drivers licence and access to transport (for community-based work). #MEDAHP
