*About The Role*
Solomon is hiring a Technical Program Manager to drive cross-functional execution across engineering, prototyping, system integration, and testing. This role is ideal for someone who can keep complex technical work moving by aligning teams, tracking dependencies, removing blockers, and making sure projects stay on schedule. You will work closely with mechanical, electrical, software, and operations teams to help turn product concepts into reliable, tested systems.
*Key Responsibilities*
* Own program schedules, milestones, and execution across technical projects
* Coordinate work across mechanical, electrical, software, and operations teams
* Track dependencies, risks, blockers, and open decisions across multiple projects
* Drive regular project reviews and status updates with clear next steps and accountability
* Partner with engineering leads to align technical execution with project goals and deadlines
* Support prototype builds, integration efforts, test readiness, and deployment planning
* Work with external vendors and suppliers to track deliverables, timelines, and issues
* Help define build plans, validation timelines, and resource needs
* Improve internal processes for planning, communication, documentation, and execution
* Maintain clear program documentation including schedules, action items, change tracking, and progress reporting
*Required Qualifications*
* Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations, Program Management, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
* 3+ years of experience in technical project management, program management, or engineering operations
* Experience working with cross-functional engineering teams on hardware, software, or electromechanical products
* Strong ability to manage schedules, risks, dependencies, and competing priorities
* Strong communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Comfortable reading technical documentation and participating in engineering discussions
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
* Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, build-test-iterate environment
*Preferred Qualifications*
* Experience in robotics, mechatronics, hardware systems, automation, or industrial products
* Experience managing prototype builds, validation cycles, or manufacturing handoff
* Familiarity with engineering workflows involving CAD, electrical systems, embedded systems, or system integration
* Experience with vendor coordination, supply chain tracking, or external manufacturing partners
* Experience using tools such as Jira, Asana, Notion, Smartsheet, or similar project tracking platforms
* Background in engineering or experience working closely with technical teams in product development environments
