Job Title: Sales Manager Department: Sales Reports to: Director of Sales The Sales Manager is responsible for effectively soliciting and becoming familiar with all accounts in his/her market segments. He/she is also responsible for prospecting and closing on assigned accounts/territory to positively impact the hotel. Key Responsibilities: Develop a complete knowledge of company sales policies and SOP's and ensure knowledge of and adherence to those policies by the sales team. Drive sales and revenue growth by developing and executing effective sales strategies Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the resort's customer base Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and operations, to align strategies and maximize sales opportunities Monitor market trends and competitor activities to stay ahead of the curve and capitalize on emerging opportunities Prepare and present sales reports and forecasts to senior management, highlighting performance and recommending strategies for improvement Assist in implementing special promotions relating to direct sales segments, i.e parties, sales blitzes, etc. Champion Camelback's service culture by modeling and reinforcing the 4 Keys: Warmth, Personalization, Awareness, and Proactivity in all team interactions and guest engagements. Qualifications and Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (preferred) 4 years of progressive hotel sales experience without a college degree; or 2 years of progressive hotel sales experience with bachelor's degree in hospitality or related field. Proven track record of success with hospitality/resort/hotel related sales Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing sales team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders Results-oriented mindset with a drive for achieving and exceeding sales targets Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify opportunities and recommend effective solutions Knowledge of the hospitality industry and market trends Proficiency in sales management software and CRM systems Ability to work in a fun, fast-paced environment. Ensure the safety and well-being of our guests. Must be able to speak and read the English language, additional languages a plus.
