As a Security Officer - Part Time Armed Patrol Driver in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a retail location.
  • Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting details and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the store, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, high-traffic areas, and restricted spaces to help to identify potential concerns and support loss prevention and asset protection efforts.
  • Interact with staff, visitors, and vendors in a professional manner while supporting access control, reporting hazards or maintenance concerns, and following post orders.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Level III Armed Guard Card is required in Texas only.
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
