About

Acacia Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Certified Veterinary Technician to join our team!
This is an excellent opportunity for skilled, outgoing technicians who want to fully utilize their education and expertise while making meaningful connections with clients and their pets.
In this role, you will:
  • Provide excellent patient care during surgical and dental procedures - including anesthesia monitoring, patient prep and recovery, and dental cleanings and radiographs.
  • Ensure efficient exam room workflow and outstanding client communication.
  • Review treatment plans, provide discharge instructions, and address client questions with empathy and clarity.
  • Collaborate with your team to support the veterinarian's orders during outpatient visits, ensuring the highest level of patient care.

This position is ideal for detail-oriented technicians who are passionate about exceptional patient and client care, and ready to work at the top of their license in a supportive, team-focused environment.
This is a full-time or part-time position, with a 4/10 schedule and availability needed Monday-Saturday. Average of 2 Saturdays per month.
Full-time benefits and compensation**:
  • Compensation: $21-24 per hour, for each hour worked*
  • Bonus package: $2000
  • CE allowance: up to $1,000 annually based on tenure

Minimum qualifications and skill set:
  • 2+ years of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
  • Current Veterinary Technician License in the state of Arizona
  • Proficiency in the following skills:
    • Anesthesia induction and monitoring
    • Dental prophy and radiographs
    • Client communication and education

Our AAHA-accredited hospital treats small animals, exotics, and even local wildlife, making every day unique and full of learning opportunities. You'll have access to digital X-rays, ultrasound, cold laser, warming surgical tables, and an in-house IDEXX lab (with Sedivue) - all tools that help you work efficiently and confidently.
