Description

Nurse Manager- Outpatient Surgery located in Santa Rosa, CA. This position is Full Time & will work Day shifts.

$10,000 hiring bonus for eligible external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

The nurse manager role is a dynamic and challenging responsibility for a seasoned leader as the center continues to grow and evolve as an Infusion Center and Ambulatory Surgical facility too serving our greater community of Sonoma County.

Provides an optimal practice environment that ensures the delivery of quality patient care. Responsible for planning, directing and managing the nursing care delivered to a designated patient population. Oversees the 24-hour operation of the patient care unit with accountability for leadership, overall fiscal management, staffing, planning, organizing and controlling.

Role models proactive, collaborative working relationships across all hospital functions in an interdisciplinary approach to patient care. Develops programs, policies, procedures, and standards of care to ensure patients' nursing care needs are assessed, evaluated and met.

Required qualifications:

• California Registered Nurse License upon hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
• 2 years of recent clinical experience.
• Computer experience.

Preferred qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
• Specialty certificate based on unit upon hire
• 2 years of management experience.
• 5 years of Clinical experience.

The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
