Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Sales Floor Manager to lead our retail sales and installation operations. The ideal candidate will have prior sales experience in
ceiling fans and lighting
and/or
window treatments
and possess strong leadership, organizational, and customer service skills.
This role is responsible for overseeing the sales floor, managing installation operations, ensuring order accuracy, and delivering an exceptional customer experience from purchase through installation.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and support the installation team to ensure projects are completed efficiently and professionally. Oversee daily sales floor operations and provide leadership to staff. Review and verify customer orders for accuracy prior to installation. Coordinate product ordering and inventory needs to support sales and installation schedules. Schedule installations and work closely with customers and installers to ensure timely project completion. Resolve customer concerns, complaints, and service-related issues in a professional and timely manner. Ensure all products, measurements, and installation details are accurate before installation appointments. Maintain strong communication between sales staff, customers, vendors, and installation teams. Monitor project timelines and proactively address potential delays or issues. Assist customers with product selection and provide expert product knowledge when needed. Skills and Experience
Qualifications
Previous sales experience in
ceiling fans, lighting, window treatments , or a related home improvement industry required. Prior leadership, supervisory, or management experience preferred. Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. Experience with product ordering, scheduling, and coordinating installations. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Proficiency with basic computer systems and Microsoft Office applications. What We're Looking For
