Position Summary
The primary function of the Sales Associate is to assist and support the outside sales rep(s) and the Company in meeting revenue targets.
Key Roles and Responsibilities Provide support to Outside Sales Representatives. Provide administrative support for the Company. Develop and maintain vendor and customer relationships. Make outbound sales calls. Make accounts receivable calls on open sales invoices. Process customer quotes and sales orders in RentalMan and other company software. Ensure that all customer orders are processed and shipped in a timely fashion. Ensure that all pricing, materials, and quantities received by the customer are verified and correct. Ensure that all customer orders are invoiced in a timely fashion. Research and problem solve customer inquiries in a timely fashion. Provide customers with technical information regarding signs and product specifications. Continually build and maintain a working knowledge of our products and services. Communicate the status of all open sales orders to the customer and sales team. Register for, assist in setting up / takedown, and management of trade show booths. General office duties such as filing, mailing invoices, general housekeeping, etc. Answer phones in a professional and courteous manner. Load customer sales and equipment orders. Perform additional initiatives to increase sales of Work Zone Products. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building relationships with team members inside and out of the organization. Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail. Self-motivated; capable of taking initiative, successfully handling, and prioritizing multiple competing assignments, and effectively managing deadlines. A passion for working in a high-growth business at the pace and expectations of the culture. A passion for success, a positive and friendly attitude, and a consistent work ethic are all a must. Intermediate computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office. Working knowledge of office equipment including copier, fax, scanner, and postage. Working Environment/Physical Requirements
Office Environment. Position involves sitting for extended periods of time while working at a computer terminal. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; sit and use hands. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Requirements
Valid driver's license and clean MVR 2 years of customer service experience Excellent analytical capabilities Strong problem-solving skills Proficient in Microsoft Applications - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Strong communications and interpersonal skills required Pass pre-employment, random, post-accident, and reasonable suspicion drug screens. Satisfactory results of pre-employment background check Preferred
Associate's or bachelor's degree. Construction or service industry experience.
