Kitchen Manager Responsibilities:- Train, coach, and direct the team - strive for excellence
- Build respectful relationships with every member of the kitchen team while holding them accountable - integrity is essential
- Manage high standards while paying attention to every detail
- Focus with the team on creating unforgettable guest experiences every time
- Keep operations running smoothly in a very high-volume environment
- Tightly manage portion sizes, recipe adherence, prep list completion, and waste controls
- Must have at least 3 years of experience in a full-service restaurant AKM, exec sous, or KM role in a high-volume, systems-oriented casual or upscale-casual environment
- Solid and proven leadership qualities: friendly, coach mentality, leading by example, and upholding quality standards in a scratch kitchen
- Must love a fast-paced environment
- Proven ability to maintain standards, exceed expectations, and build relationships
- Inventory and ordering are required - previous experience is necessary
- Strict adherence to safety and sanitation standards is a must
- Proactive problem-solver and hands-on work ethic
