Allied Supply Company is seeking a motivated and customer‑focused HVAC Counter Sales Specialist to join our Cincinnati team. This role supports customers by processing orders, providing product recommendations, and ensuring a positive customer experience. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, solving problems, and learning technical products in a fast‑paced distribution environment. Key Responsibilities
Assist customers in person, by phone, and through email Process sales orders, quotes, returns, and inquiries accurately Recommend products based on customer needs and applications Support customers with product information and order status updates Follow up on quotes and open orders Coordinate with vendors, warehouse personnel, and other departments to ensure timely fulfillment Support inventory activities, including receiving, stocking, and order pulling as needed Maintain a clean, organized, and professional sales counter area Resolve customer concerns in a timely and professional manner Qualifications
Previous experience in customer service, sales, retail, wholesale distribution, or a related field preferred Experience working with contractors, maintenance professionals, or trade customers is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn technical products Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Basic computer skills and ability to learn business software systems Benefits
