Infrastructure Engineer
At AIS, we are dedicated to providing our employees with diverse opportunities to grow their careers while supporting a variety of impactful projects. For this position, we are seeking a talented individual to join AIS as a Infrastructure Engineer. As your initial project assignment, you will support the unique needs of our client as a Data Engineer. As a Data Engineer, you will collaborate with our clients in supporting and optimizing our Azure-based container platform, with a primary focus on Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS). This role is responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and security of our cloud-native environments, including specialized platforms such as the POSIT (RStudio) ecosystem. The engineer will serve as a trusted subject matter expert across multiple infrastructure domains—networking, ingress, DNS, certificates, and firewall processes—while providing hands-on support and troubleshooting across application and platform layers. This position is ideal for someone who excels at solving complex technical challenges, collaborating across teams, and driving operational excellence in cloud environments. The targeted base salary range for this role is $89,000-$134,000 per year. Please note that this range is provided as a guideline and the final offer will be based on several factors, including but not limited to, skillset and competencies, level of experience, education, certifications, and location. We value transparency in our hiring process and are happy to discuss how your unique qualifications align with our compensation structure during the interview process.
