What You'll Do:

  • Provide chairside and clinical support during exams and procedures
  • Take impressions for models and denture appliances
  • Place and remove rubber dams or other isolation devices
  • Ensure patient comfort and safety during appointments; communicate observations to the dentist
  • Assist in discussing treatment plans with patients and act as a liaison between provider and patient
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and care
  • Prepare and disinfect treatment rooms in compliance with infection control standards

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • CPR certification
  • 8-hour infection control certificate
  • California x-ray license
  • Willing and able to travel to other MCHC sites for trainings, meetings, and/or to cover shifts as needed.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working in a dental office with electronic health records (EHR)
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish (fluent)
  • Ukiah, California, United States
