divh2Staff Physical Therapist Assistant/h2pThe Staff Physical Therapist Assistant assists the Staff Therapist with patient related activities and direct patient care./ppEssential Duties/pulliTreat patients as directed by Physical Therapist./liliRecord daily treatment notes and weekly progress notes per PT Board./liliAssist in maintaining department./liliParticipate in Patient Care and Rehabilitation Conferences, as needed./liliAssist with cleaning and maintenance of treatment area./liliTreat patients per the physician treatment plan./liliAssist nursing department with training of Restorative Aides./liliCommunicate with supervisor and other health team members regarding patient progress, problem and plans./liliParticipate in in-services training program for other staff in the facility./liliRecord treatment changes per policy and procedures./liliInstruct patients families or nursing staff in maintenance program and caregiver training in preparation for discharge from therapy services./liliReport any problems with department equipment so that it is maintained in good working order./liliAbility to relate positively, effectively, and appropriately with patients/residents, families, staff and professional colleagues./li/ulpSupervisory Requirements/ppThe position is not a supervisory position./ppQualification/ppEducation and/or Experience/ppLicensed as a Staff Physical Therapy Assistant Board of the States./ppProficient in computer skills such as inputting data into programs such as Casamba and Point Click Care./ppCertificates, Licenses, Registrations/ppLicensed as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state./ppEmployee must meet continue education requirements per state practices./ppMust maintain a license in good standing at all time with the state board./p/div
